American Sha’Carri Richardson becomes the fastest woman in the world by winning the 100-meter world title.

On August 21, 2023, Sha’Carri Richardson wins the women’s 100 meters in world athletics champions in Budapest, Hungry. After getting a positive Marijuana test she got out of the rails of the 2022 US championship before the worlds. but after 2 years she came and conquered the title all by herself.

After qualifying for the finals on Sunday she said,” I’m not worried about the world anymore. I’ve seen the world be my friend, I’ve seen the world turn on me. At the end of the day, I’ve always been with me. God has always been with me. So being on this scale now, it’s my time, It’s always been my time, but now it’s my time to actually do it for myself, and the people that felt like me, and the people that look like me, and the people that know the truth about themselves as well. I represent those people.”

American Sha’Carri Richardson won the women’s 100-meter world title championship this Monday.

Sha’Carri Richardson finished the race in 10.65 seconds on the far outside in lane 9.

Sha’Carri Richardson beats the five-time champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce by 0.12 seconds and Jamacias Shericka Jackson by 0.7 seconds.

After winning the race she was stunned. she blew kisses towards the sky and the audience. Richardson watched her name on the scoreboard and walked towards the stand to accept the American flag and her gold medal.

Sha’carri Richardson also said “I’m here, I told y’all,” she told the track announcer right after the race. “I’m not back, I’m better.”
