A study made by CORNELL UNIVERSITY that a new AI tool can steal the passwords of users by listening to keyboard clicks. it can detect your password with 95% accuracy.
Cornell University’s results in this tool were shocking. the AI tool can duplicate the password with 95% accuracy when a user is using his smartphone.
It increased during attending a Zoom call on a laptop or PC. it detected passwords with 93% accuracy.
The tool was able to listen to the key click sounds and sound wavelengths coming from it while typing. These two elements are major factors in detecting the password.
It can lead to the breaching of many accounts. people are unaware of this threat. because as you know some of them handle their accounts by themselves meanwhile others manage their accounts by their agents. if they are unaware of this issue they will be in big trouble in the future.
This type of hack is called as “ACOUSTIC SIDE-CHANNEL ATTACK.”

This means you can’t type in public places or offices. because its tool can put your security at risk. To be safe please avoid public places for typing passwords and use password manager tools or 2-step authentication to secure your accounts.
You can also avoid it by keeping your software or application updated and giving unique passwords that contain unique characters and symbols. By doing this you can protect your accounts from these AI tools or any other cyber attacks.
